Monthly ‘TLW Communi-TEE Social’

Next Communi-TEE Social, January 29th, 2021: Dr. Amy West!

Want to meet a real-life superhero? We’ve got one for you for the next TLW Communi-TEE Social. Join us with special guest Dr. Amy West to discuss how those living with limb loss can stay active this new year, while also working on joint integrity, stability, and strength in order to reduce the incidence of overuse and compensation injuries many amputees face.

Harvard trained Dr. West is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Physician at Northwell Health in New York, who throughout an already illustrious career has not only treated hundreds of patients with medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons but also helped care for many of the survivors of the Boston Marathon Bombing. In addition to her impressive resume and training, Amy is also an incredible CrossFit athlete and a CFL1 coach and CrossFit Doc, hear her story and ask her your questions at the next TLW Communi-TEE Social.
