Stephanie Vasquez

Stephanie Vásquez was 20 years old when she was involved in a hit and run collision in South Central LA (March 22nd, 2019). She had multiple injuries - the worst being her right leg which had a 95% chance of amputation right on the spot. They tried saving it for two days but finally decided nothing could be done and they had to amputate it. Stephanie is about to turn 23 now and she has a prothesis but is still learning to walk without crutches.
