Welcome to The Liner Wand!

The first clinically proven, prosthetist recommended prosthetic liner care and hygiene system.

As you know, the vast majority of the 2.1 million U.S. amputees consistently suffer from skin irritation, discomfort, and unwanted odor from their prosthetic liners.

Until now liner hygiene has been delivered via traditional soaps and alcohol wipes whose decontaminating effects can be short-lived, ineffective, and even counterproductive.

Now available via the Veterans Association

We are delighted to announce that The Liner Wand Kit is now an approved vendor in the Veterans Association purchasing system. This means that as a prosthetist, you can now order The Liner Wand through the VA system for all your veteran patients, with the VA covering the cost of the kit.

Give our veterans the standard of care they deserve by giving them access to the first clinically proven, prosthetist recommended prosthetic liner care and hygiene system.

How The Liner Wand Works

The Liner Wand system makes cleaning prosthetic liners quick and easy while delivering a deeper clean that lasts up to two weeks with one application.

The Liner Wand uses a sponge tip to deep-clean the surface and apply a single thin coating of patented Apocrine™️ solution. The application of this solution creates a protective titanium barrier that helps decontaminate liners and remove the bacteria by-products that cause skin irritation, discomfort, and stigmatizing odor in the first place.

How to use The Liner Wand

The Liner Wand uses a sponge tip to deep-clean the surface and apply a single thin coating of our patented Apocrine™ solution.
The application of this solution creates a protective titanium barrier that helps decontaminate your liner and remove the bacteria by-products that cause odor and skin irritation.

Step 1: Clean
Using our soft bristle brush and liner-safe cleanser solution, gently scrub the interior of your liner to remove surface debris.

Step 2: Dry
Air drying your liner is best. Using a cloth or other materials can sometimes leave a residue that is not favorable.

Step 3: Apply
Use The Liner Wand pre-filled applicators to brush on an even coat of Apocrine solution. Two applicators will be necessary to cover the entire liner surface.

Step 4: Dry
Allow the Apocrine coating to air dry in just a few minutes! You’re now fully protected for two weeks until your next application.

What Prosthetists are Saying

“…Patient was started on The Liner Wand applied to the liners once every 2 weeks. When last seen in October, he had not had a reoccurrence of folliculitis or hidradenitis and his skin appeared to be smooth, supple, and without any evidence of inflammation.”

Christopher T. Born, MD, FACS, FAAOS

“Our practice is currently using The Liner Wand with any patient who receives any cushion or locking liner. We have found the product to mitigate skin irritation leading to longer wear time. Patients also find that the product decreases odor as well. The Liner Wand is an essential cleaning agent for any prosthetist.”

Rogerson Orthotics & Prosthetics

“Patient presented severe skin breakdowns, cracking, blistering, and rashes without cause. Patient was treated with The Liner Wand and experienced significant relief in the severity of skin episodes.”
